Privacy Policy
Your lists stay on your devices. We do not receive your checklist contents or operate a server for your app data.
Data stored by the app
Takealong stores templates, checklist items, check history, schedules, settings and purchase access status locally on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. Paired devices exchange this data through Apple's WatchConnectivity. App widgets share data with the app through an on-device App Group.
Takealong has no developer account, advertisements, tracking, third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. It does not send your checklist data or purchase records to us.
Purchases
Apple processes subscriptions and payments. Takealong reads Apple's signed purchase and subscription status on your device to enable features, and sends the resulting access status to your paired Watch. We do not receive your payment card or bank details. Apple's services are subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Notifications and pasted text
Notification permission is optional and can be changed in system Settings. Reminders use local notifications, not a developer push-notification server. The app handles pasted text when you choose to paste it into an input field; it does not monitor your clipboard.
Backups and retention
Takealong keeps automatic backups on your iPhone. Local app data may also be included in Apple's device backups according to your system settings. Exporting a backup through Files shares a copy with the storage location or provider you choose, such as iCloud Drive. That provider's privacy and retention rules apply.
You can delete templates and checks, or configure history retention in Settings. Backup copies can retain older data until they are replaced or deleted. Removing Takealong removes its local app data, subject to copies retained by your device backup or storage provider. Manage exported files and device backups separately. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Support and this website
If you contact us, we use the information you choose to provide to respond and resolve the request. Do not send private checklist contents or backups unless needed for your request.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process ordinary website request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. The corporate website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures website visits without tracking cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Web Analytics information. Website analytics are separate from Takealong: the app does not include an analytics SDK or send us checklist contents.

Contact us through Takealong Support about privacy or data handling. We will update this page when our practices change, with a new effective date.
